It does this by employing women with low incomes to do the waste collection and recycling and in turn, provides them with social incentives like access to healthcare. So far, eTrash2Cash has diverted over 10,000 metric tons of trash out of landfills across four states and has trained 200 women on how to upcycle plastics.
