As a result of a $75,000 grant dispersed to 11 free and charitable clinics in the area, clinics like Symba Center have been able to hire additional staff, launch internship programs, provide educational resources, increase collaboration among local organizations and providers and begin offering mental health screening. So far, Symba Center and other area clinics have screened about 22,000 people.
